Adding Sign Up Genius Button

How to add a Sign Up Genius Button

Question: I am trying to add a sign up genius to button to my page and for some reason I can not figure it out. I created the button on the sign up genius page and here is the code they gave me

<a href=”http://www.signupgenius.com/go/NAMEOFFORM” target=”_blank”><img src=”http://www.signupgenius.com/images/sign-up-now2.gif” width=”250″ height=”45″ border=”0″ alt=”Sign Up Now!”></a>

I am pasting that into my page (volunteer), but it just looks like the code above, it’s not doing anything? What else do I need to do?

 It’s a very Simple Solution

texttab

The code that Sign Up Genius (and many other websites) gives you is HTML Code. More than likely you are pasting it in the VISUAL Tab of your editor and not the TEXT Tab of your editor. Look for the two tabs at the top right of your editor and click the TEXT Tab. Now Paste your Code. Now click back to the VISUAL Tab and you should see your new code displayed. Depending on the type of code, you may also see the space where your code will be displayed in live mode, but it won’t actually have anything in it.

Now Save / Update your Page and take a look at it in live mode. You should be all set!
