The Pages Widget allows you to display a list of your Pages in the side bar. This can be very helpful with navigation, especially if you don’t have a huge number of pages. You are able to manually specify page to exclude as well.

The settings for the Page widget are fairly straight forward.

Title: Specify a title for the widget (optional)

Sort By: You can sort your list of pages by either Page Title (Recommended), Page Order, or Page ID.

Exclude: If you want to exclude some pages from your Pages Widget, you can enter their Page ID (explained below) and separate ID’s with commas.

To find a page ID, navigate to the edit mode of the page you want to exclude. When you are in edit mode, look in the URL of the page. You will see a code that says post=number. This number is the Page ID.
